Could you briefly explain the process by which TEAC Hi-Res Editor is able to convert PCM to DSD and vice versa?

Is DSD to PCM conversion done in one stage like SBM Direct?

TEAC Hi-Res Editor is possible to convert PCM(WAV) and DSD mutually.
However, we have not published any information about conversion process and so on.
